Cops out of control -- again

It's becoming the norm in the USA -- heavily militarized police, brutalizing and murdering innocent people. Look at this picture. Look at this picture and tell me this is reasonable for a peaceful, non-violent protest, which supposedly we have the right to engage in in this country (as always, click to enlarge):

I mean, Jesus Christ, he looks something out of a sci-fi film. Or Ancient Rome + 21st Century. Unbelievable.

Jason is back: more stories from TSA hell

Our whistleblower buddy Jason Harrington has written another exposé. We were the first site in the blabbosphere to publicize Harrington's TSA tell-all blog, called Taking Sense Away. That was two years ago. And we wrote about him several times thereafter.

Morons on parade: TSA steals “grenade-shaped” perfume bottle

I can't keep up with all these stories. They come too fast and furious, one more idiotic than the next. Although there is sometimes method to the TSA's madness, as in this case where the employees clearly wanted to steal somebody's expensive perfume.

Dianne Feinstein the Hypocrite

Ya know what -- fuck Dianne Feinstein. For years she's been one of the worst shills for the NSA, CIA, and the entire national security state apparatus. It was okay when everyone else was being spied on and abused, but now that the shoe is on the other foot, suddenly it's not okay.

Funny how people get religion only when they're personally affected. Similar to Gabby Giffords, I might add, who now is all in favor of gun control. But until she got shot, she didn't give a shit.

TSA and CBP: comrades in arms -- and crimes

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and Customs and Border Protection (CBP) are two different agencies operating under the aegis of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Therefore, it shouldn't come as a surprise that they have sensibilities, practices, and impunity in common. The major difference is that the TSA has no law enforcement authority while CBP does. That power makes the latter even more dangerous.

TSA clerks think Bitcoin is metal

Someone who describes himself as an anarchist believes what the TSA is saying? Really??

Davi Barker, I'd check my anarchist credentials if I were you.
