Bradley Manning Verdict to Come Today
Military Judge Denise Lind is expected to hand down her verdict in the case of whistleblower Bradley Manning today in Fort Meade, Maryland.
Given that she's bent over backwards to please the prosecution -- and even allowed new charges to be filed late in the game, after the trial had already been in progress for weeks -- I can't believe we'll have good news.
In the Orwellian country that the USA has become, whistleblowers are prosecuted as criminals, while the crimes they exposed are swept under the rug. The Obama administration has prosecuted more whistleblowers than have all other presidents in history combined. There's your Mr. Hope & Change in action.
Get ready for more of the same. This is only the beginning.
